One of the highlight’s of The Northern Ireland International Ploughing Championships this year is the Tractor Pulling. The Irish Tractor Pulling Committee hosted the event on Saturday 1st October at Limavady
Tractor pulling has become popular at events in Northern Ireland with the sights and sounds of local tractor owners competing alongside especially built supercharged tractors to test the pulling power of tractors. Local tractor owners were are able to take part in one of three classes for 5.5 tonnes, 7.5 tonnes, 9.5 tonnes and 11 tonnes and over. There was also other pro-stock classes for the supercharged machines.
All farm tractors reported for weigh in, with entry numbers limited on a first come, first served basis.
Tractor Pulling weigh in commences at 10am on Saturday 1st October at the ploughing championships, Aghanloo Industrial Estate,on the outskirts of Limavady.
