IRELAND'S TOP PERFORMERS TO HEADLINE PLOUGHING CHAMPIONSHIPS
Fiddler Adam along with Hugo Duncan & Country Harmony plus Ritchie Remo will provide the entertainment at this year's European & Northern Ireland Ploughing Championships at Drumahoe, Derry-Londonderry on 5th & 6th October 2012.
Live acts Hugo Duncan, Country Harmony & Fiddler Adam will share the main stage on the Saturday 6th October at the ploughing championships in Drumahoe ensuring the crowds will be kept well entertained with upbeat fiddle and country tunes that will keep toes tapping and hands clapping. Ritchie Remo will provide the live music on Friday 5th October. Live music will take place between 11am - 3:30pm.
BBC Radio Ulster presenter, Hugo Duncan, known as "the wee man from Strabane" will perform the best of both old and new country favourites. Fiddler Adam is recognised as one of the top fiddle players in Ireland and the UK performing anything from Bluegrass to Irish Traditional. Along with being a top fiddle player, is the fact that he also has an outstanding voice singing anything from Country, Folk and Rock genres. Another fiddling sensation on the stage at the ploughing championships will be Ritchie Remo who will perform on stage on Friday 5th October. The dynamic performer from Claudy has captivated audiences everywhere since he burst onto the Country music scene and will perform many hits from his albums.
Car parking is free on site and there will be many other attractions including European and national ploughing, over 10 acres of trade exhibits, craft village, children's entertainment plus lots, lots more....
Catering on site by Docs, along with a licensed bar will be available.
