Welcome to the official website for the Northern Ireland Ploughing Association

Northern Ireland has a long and proud history in ploughing having won the Golden Plough (World Contest) no less than 10 times and winning the European Reversible crown 4 times.

This year, our annual International Championships will take place in Bushmills, Co Antrim on 18th & 19th October 2013 and will incorporate the Five Nations Ploughing Contest. We look forward to welcoming competitors and visitors from Republic of Ireland, Scotland, England & Wales to our event which promises to be a great family day out on the glorious Causeway Coast.
